So THIS is what people do all day... I was unemployed for 9 months. Sure, some of it was difficult and depressing but on the other hand, it was very enjoyable having so much free time. I hiked. I biked. I travelled. I sat on my ass and read books. I got accustomed to the schedule of my new life. Now, I've got a job again. Financially, what a huge relief! Career-wise, it's a good move. Socially, I've met some nice folks. But man...it really cuts into my free time.

Blargh. Starting a new job today...yahoo! Do people really get up this early to WORK?!?!? ;)

Geez. My blogger template threw up, and I haven't been able to post for quite some time. Finally gave up on the old blog template. Hopefully, this one won't barf as well. I'll re-create the same look, later.

So, here's the lowdown: House hasn't sold. Got a contracting gig at IBM, but it hasn't started yet, and I probably shouldn't say too much until I have a desk, a phone and a paycheck on the way. Still have other interviews going on, and those are pretty good potentials, as well. The job market is looking up. Not much else going on. I'll post a bit more later.
