Earlier tonight. Driving with the windows down. A welcome rain is on the way. Five for Fighting’s “100 years” is on the radio and I'm reflective. I’ve found a partner who truly enhances my life, cherishes "us", stimulates me to grow and provokes so much love within me. I have deep connections with friends both near and far who help keep me balanced and open. I feel healthy and strong. I live in a beautiful place where, within walking distance in every direction, I can hike, bike, raft, wine and dine, dance, visit with friends, and play.

And driving through the dusk with a warm breeze and the smell of rain in the air, knowing I’m coming home to talk to my love, scratch the doggie’s ears and cuddle with the kitty I can’t help but think...life is so very good.
