Update. It's been a couple of weeks since my last blog...here's what I've been up to:

  • Spent a relatively quiet weekend at home (the first one in *months* - what a nice change!).

  • Spent a relatively raucous weekend in Breck dancing, hanging out with friends, drinking heavily.

  • Racked up a $1200 bill at Mataam Fez in Denver (there were quite a few of us).

  • Gorged myself silly on oysters at Jax.

  • Had a crucial breakthrough in yoga poses.

  • Went on a long hike.

  • Started boxing again.

  • Had some really great eves with some really special friends.

  • For those of you that don't know, I tore my Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) back in late December. Argh. It's kept me off the ski slopes for a bit. Luckily, it's not kept me from having fun. At any rate, this coming weekend I'm going to ski for the first time since that MCL tear. So, things like hiking and boxing are a bigger deal to me than they may seem. Means I'm pert-near back to normal (relatively speaking). However, I think it would be unwise to ease up on the hot tub therapy yet. That still seems to be a significant part of the healing process. Heh, heh. Bought some wicked new ski pants that'll fit over the knee brace - yeah, they cost a pretty penny but...Moonstones are *sweet*. Can't wait to put it all together - new skis, new boots, new pants, good food, good company...what more can a girl ask for? It's 70 degrees and gorgeous here in Colorado today. SEVENTY! I'm headed out early to go to an impromptu BBQ. Got to enjoy this weather! It's supposed to snow tomorrow...
