Mindless babble. So, there are two companies that I've been interviewing with lately that are both real hopefuls. If I received offers from either of them, I'd be very pleased. I hope to have more information by the first part of next week. Still not much action on the home sale - market is pretty slow for sellers right now. Well, if one of these job opps pans out, the pressure won't be quite so high. Took the Mexico pix for developing - I'll post a few when I get them back - should have some good ones. Going to participate in a local sheepdog trial first weekend in August - it's just a small arena trial at the Boulder County Fair but I like the folks who attend, so it'll be fun. Probably pretty hot. I'm giving a presentation this weekend on a portion of my Master's thesis to an incoming group of student DBA's...that'll be cool. I'm flattered that I was asked. Going to see Tom Petty at Red Rocks in late August - should be a good show. Bret and I saw John Hiatt at the Botanic Gardens a couple of weeks ago - that was a *great* evening. Come to think of it, just about everything Bret and I do together winds up being a great time...I guess good company makes everything a little bit more fun. :) Wildfire smoke seems to have dissipated from the metro area while we were gone...still a bit hazy, but not as extreme as it was. The weather is actually cool right now - think I'll head outside to enjoy it before it heats up too much. A woman I've known since I was 4 years old (she was just an infant then) just had her first child a few days ago - amazing...I can remember her older sister and I tormenting her (as sisters will do) throughout our childhood. Now, both sisters are mothers. Incredible how time flies. Congratulations, Valerie! Frank Lloyd Wright said "The longer I live the more beautiful life becomes." Most definitely, Frank...most definitely.
