Job update. Was asked to update folks on the job situation...not much to report, yet. I've had two promising interviews that are still possibilities, but one company moves slower than molasses and the other one's contact person is out of town for a bit. So, I'm still hopeful - they both sound like a pretty good fit for my skills and interests. One's a technical project mgr position, and the other one is managing about 8 Oracle DBAs and developers. Right up my alley. I'm getting more names from friends and colleagues lately, and am following up on any lead I come across. If nothing else, I'm meeting some nice people! But, a job would be good, too...

I recently got about 70# of lamb from a rancher friend...Bret and I have been regularly feasting on it. We're going to cook up some more this evening. With salad, fresh strawberries, cheese and good wine...should be heavenly!
